WHere is a home-style version of a cocktail found on our latest menu. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that's loaded with the tastes associated with Christmas time, rendering it excellent for your holiday party. Any leftover syrup for brunch beverages, puddings, or for more rounds of bikinis.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 servings
To make the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
For the Cordial: Combine every ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a light boil, mixing to dissolve. Then, turn off the heat and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Pour into a sealable bottle, close it keeping it chilled, it can be stored for around four weeks.
To make Premix: Combine all the liquid ingredients into one big jug, allow it to infuse for an hour, then pass it through preferably using muslin, making it completely strained.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base into your mixing glass filled with ice, and stir lightly for one minute to cool it down. Pour to a chilled martini glass or equivalent, decorate with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
